Two stories this week about hard working racers from Maine competing on the national stage, Austin Theriault from Fort Kent in ARCA and John Cassidy from Bangor in Rally America.
Fort Kent, Maine’s Austin Theriault has a first and a second in the two races he has run in the “Irish Hills” of Michigan. Plus action from USAC, Speedway 660 in Canada, Le Mans and more.
This is why good safety equipment and proper use in motorsports allows drivers to walk away.
The ARCA race at Elko Speedway was a great example of short track racing at it’s best. Okay NASCAR put the Camping World Trucks and Xfinity Series cars at theses type tracks and watch the fans fill the grandstands.
